eBay for Beginners

Have you always been curious about eBay but never quite got around to trying it? Join us at the Marstons Mills Public Library,  as Bill Donle explains the structure of eBay, how to set up an account, the best ways to search for items, and how to bid.

In addition to describing how to establish an eBay account, Bill will discuss the structure of the eBay data base, and how best to navigate to the items you may be interested in buying.  You will learn how to bid, and what elements to look for in an item that is listed for sale; you’ll hear about the rating system that eBay uses to provide feedback to buyers and sellers; you will learn what snags you might encounter; and you will hear about Paypal and its use with eBay.

You will set up an account with eBay, and will have the opportunity to place bids, should you wish to.  If not, you’ll be able to simply browse the huge amount of items that are available on eBay, and go home ready to use the knowledge you’ve gained!
