Come take a train ride! Visit the historical train station and museum which is leased by the Cape Cod Chapter, National Railway Historical Society from the town and operated and maintained by the Cape Cod Chapter, National Railway Historical Society. The train station is our headquarters. Open Saturdays from May through October 20 only from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Scenic Train Ride Tickets on Cape Cod Central Railroad available at station up to departure time. Departures promptly at 9:25am and 12:25pm on Saturdays from West Barnstable Train Station boarding at the high level platform. Wheelchair available. Adults $16; Seniors $14 and Children $11. Under 3 seated on laps are free. One hour and ten minute narrated scenic ride from West Barnstable through the marshlands, cranberry bogs, various crossings up to the Cape Cod Canal and return. Snack bar and restrooms on board. Historical train museum has lots to see and children can play with Thomas the Train and the model train O-27 Gauge train module.
