Barnstable Land Trust welcomes John Teal, Scientist Emeritus from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, an expert on salt marsh ecology. He was among the first to identify the importance of saltmarshes in the delicate balance of our coastal ecosystems. He is a champion for salt marsh protection and restoration and will discuss the effects of rising tides. West Barnstable Community Center, Route 149. $5 per person.
