Observing subjects in their natural environment offers greater understanding of nature and its creatures throughout the seasons. Drawing them increases observation and illustration skills and allows time to connect with nature, relax and enjoy being outdoors. It is also a way to collect information to take home or to the studio for more finished drawings or writing. Artist Nancy Minnigerode will show you how to follow the seasons in a meaningful way by recording observations in pictures and words.
