Cotuit Center for the Arts will present “Stephanie Weaver and Friends,” Saturday, July 7, at 8 PM. Tickets are $20, $17 for members.
Pianist Stephanie Weaver, who is managing director of the Cape Cod Conservatory, will perform, along with special guests, violinist Dan Flonta, and conservatory student flutist Darby Gavin. The concerts will benefit the Conservatory’s Scholarship Fund and Cotuit Center for the Arts’ Music Programs.
Weaver will perform “L’Isle Joyeuse” and “Claire de Lune” by Debussy and “Harmonies du Soir” and “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 8” by Liszt.

Dan Flonta will play sonatas by Debussy and Eugène Ysaÿe (1858-1931) a Belgian violinist, composer, and conductor, and friend and colleague of Debussy.
Flutist Darby Gavin, a scholarship student at the conservatory will play “Elegie” by Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924), a French composer, pianist, and conductor.
