The Hollies of Ashumet

Mass Audubon's Ashumet Holly Wildlife Sanctuary in East Falmouth is home to over 1500 holly trees, many of which were propagated at the site in the mid-1900s by renowned holly cultivator Wilfrid Wheeler. Join Mass Audubon Director Ian Ives for a colorful slide presentation featuring Wheeler’s holly legacy, the fascinating history of Ashumet's hollies and tips for growing and appreciating these beautiful plants.  This talk is free; registration is appreciated.  For more information, visit www.sturgislibrary.org.
