Barnstable Man Killed in Crash

FALMOUTH, MA — A man was killed in a crash in Falmouth Tuesday night. Daniel Vincent, 33, of Barnstable, was driving a pickup truck on Seapit Road near the Waquoit Highway when he veered off the road, according to Falmouth police Lt. Douglas DeCosta. The vehicle struck a sign, two trees, and then came to rest in an embankment. Vincent was pronounced dead a short time later, DeCosta said.

Vincent, who's from Cotuit, was driving a red GMC Sierra, police said. He was the only occupant.

The crash happened at about 9 p.m. during a period of steady snow.
