Cape Cod Motel Stabbing: Teen Charged With Murder
James Dean, 43, was stabbed to the death at the Beach N' Towne Motel, Yarmouth police said.
YARMOUTH, MA — A 16-year-old Cape Cod boy was charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of a 43-year-old man at a Yarmouth motel. On Friday at about 9 p.m., Yarmouth police said officers responded to the Beach N' Towne for a distress call and found James Dean with serious stab wounds. He was transported to Cape Cod Hospital and pronounced dead.
The teen was arrested at the scene; police said he and Dean are related. The teen's name was not released.
The teen is scheduled for an arraignment January 17 in Barnstable District Court. He was charged with murder and assault.
