Fire In West Barnstable
A fire broke out in West Barnstable Tuesday morning as soaring temperatures created difficult firefighting conditions.
BARNSTABLE, MA — A brush fire broke out in West Barnstable Tuesday morning. The fire was reported near Oak Street by Route 6 and spread over about 3 acres. No injuries were reported.

Firefighting conditions Tuesday were horrendous, with highs around 90 degrees and sticky humidity.
