First Chick-fil-A on Cape Cod Opens
The Hyannis Chick-fil-A opened for business Wednesday.
BARNSTABLE, MA — The first Chick-fil-A on Cape Cod opened in Barnstable Wednesday. The new restaurant is located at 155 Enterprise Road in Hyannis. It's the sixth Chick-fil-A in Massachusetts.
The company hired about 70 full- and part-time workers for the Hyannis store. Franchisee Annemarie Reissner, a Cape Cod resident, is operating the restaurant.
"I always had an entrepreneurial passion, so I began looking into Chick-fil-A,” Reissner said in a statement. “I realized that although I never thought my path would lead to selling chicken, my desire to make a difference in the daily lives of those around me led me to do just that.”
