Flanagan, Post To Attend 1st Barnstable District Debate
Third-party candidate Abe Kasparian will also attend the debate, hosted by the League of Women Voters.

BARNSTABLE COUNTY, MA — The League of Women Voters will host a debate among candidates from State Representative in the 1st Barnstable District on Tuesday night. All three in the running are slated to attend.
Christopher Flanagan is running as a Democratic in 2022, while Tracy Post is the Republican candidate. Abe Kasparian Jr. is running as a third-party candidate.
Timothy Whelan, a Republican, is the current incumbent but is giving up his seat to run for Barnstable County Sheriff in 2022. The League of Women Voters hosted a debate for that race last week, which can be viewed here.

For voters interested in learning more about the 1st District candidates, the best way to catch Tuesday's debate is by tuning into the Cape Media Center livestream. That stream will be aired on Comcast channel 98 and 99 as well as www.capemedia.org.
The 1st District represents all precincts in Brewster and Dennis, as well as Precincts 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 in Yarmouth.
