Former Cape Cod Police Chief Convicted of Driving Drunk with His Toddler in Hyannis

John Lundborn, a former Truro police chief, was convicted of driving drunk with his toddler in the vehicle following a traffic stop in Hyannis last year.

Lundborn was found guilty of operating under the influence, child endangerment, and possessing an open container of alcohol following a trial in Barnstable District Court, according to capecod.com.

Lundborn was arrested on July 3, 2014. He has two previous OUI charges.

In 2011, Lundborn was fired from his Truro post after he drove drunk and crashed a police cruiser. Then in 2013, he was charged with OUI in Palm Beach, Florida.
