Fugitive Charged With 3rd OUI At Cape Cod Mall
Police said the man drove recklessly through the mall parking lot, hitting landscape boulders and driving up on an island.

HYANNIS, MA – A man wanted on criminal charges in Florida was charged with his third drunken driving offense at the Cape Cod Mall Wednesday, police said. Darin Selby, 49, of Sandwich, was stopped after police received reports of an erratic driver in the parking lot around 1:45 p.m.
Police said Selby drove recklessly through the lot, striking landscape boulders and driving up onto a channelized island to stop for police. He was charged with operating under the influence of liquor - third offense, operating to endanger, operating after license suspension and operating with an open alcohol container.
Two witnesses saw Selby driving erratically and followed him until he was pulled over, according to police.

Selby is a fugitive from justice in Florida for a third conviction for petit theft, police said. He was held at the police station ahead of his arraignment in Barnstable District Court.
