Yarmouth police said they arrested Demetrius Bennett and Jumonai Mobley, of Boston, and seized crack cocaine and oxycodone.

YARMOUTH, MA — Two Boston gang members were arrested in a recent Cape Cod drug bust, police announced Monday. Boston residents Demetrius Bennett and Jumonai Mobley, both 26, were arrested Friday after officers saw them in a vehicle at a suspected drug den in Yarmouth on Checkerberry Lane, police said. A search of the vehicle turned up 18 bags of crack cocaine, a bad of powder cocaine and 44 pills that were a mix of oxycodone and acetaminophen, police said.

Police said residents of the drug den were recently evicted after months of dealing heroin and cocaine. "No trespassing" signs were posted on the property. When officers encountered Bennett and Mobley, Mobley lied about his name but he was eventually identified, police said. Mobley was charged with three counts of drug possession with intent to distribute, driving with a revoked license and trespassing. Bennett was charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws.
