Gas Station Catches Fire In Hyannis

HYANNIS, MA — Fire officials are working to find out what caused a fire at a Hyannis gas station Wednesday night.

Around 6:45 p.m., firefighters were called to the Speedway gas station on Iyannough Road. Fire officials said the fire started outside the station building and spread into the walls.

Firefighters extinguished the flames after knocking down the wall and preventing it from spreading. Officials estimated the building sustained about $10,000 worth of damage.

No injuries were reported
