'Getaways for Lovers'

It may be too cold to wear sandals, but it’s not too cold to talk about them.

The Sandals that travel guru Ellen Paderson will discuss on Tuesday, January 20, during a unique free presentation, ‘Getaways for Lovers,’ are the Caribbean resorts she’s been working with for over 20 years. The program will be 6:30 pm at the Ambrosia Tavern, 116 Elm Street, North Attleboro, Mass.

Paderson, one of the region’s leading experts on vacation, honeymoon and destination wedding planning, is program host. Refreshments will be served and there will be special incentives for attendees.

The program will include a video presentation about Sandals Resorts which operates resorts in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua, the Bahamas, Barbados and Grenada, and special offers for anyone planning a vacation, a destination wedding or a honeymoon. Paderson says, “I have arranged packages for hundreds of couples seeking luxurious accommodations, gourmet candlelit dining, gorgeous tropical settings and some of the most exquisite beaches in the world.”

Paderson says that “Each Sandals resort is created for two people in love of any age and all levels of activities.” Each has its own unique features, but all are designed for romance so couples can choose to do as much or as little, as they want, whether strolling along garden paths, wading into hidden grotto pools, diving, etc. She notes, “Sandals calls itself the home of romantic getaways for two people in love.”
