Ghosts & Romance Author Discussion and Book Signing - Haunting Fiction for Halloween
Two local authors will discuss the paranormal and supernatural elements in their novels at the Hyannis Library on Wed., Oct. 19th, 6-7 pm
The Hyannis Public Library invites you to join us on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 6 p. m. for “Ghosts & Romance” featuring two local authors of supernatural fiction. This program is free and open to the public. Meet Katie O’Sullivan and Kathryn Knight, writers of fiction with a wide range of spookiness to fit all tastes: romance and adventure for young adults and the young at heart; contemporary romance spiked with mysterious hauntings; paranormal romance filled with forbidden love; and romance combining the more conventional elements of love and murder. Do you love local? Many of their books include familiar Cape Cod spots! Kathryn Knight’s latest novel, Haunted Souls, was inspired by a trip to the Old Jail on 6A in Barnstable Village (built in 1690 and said to be haunted) and it makes an appearance in the book. The Son of a Mermaid series by Katie O’Sullivan features supernatural action in Nantucket Sound and Provincetown’s magical and mystical Carnival is highlighted in her novel Crazy About You. The authors’ books will be available for sale and signing. Please come to the Hyannis Public Library on October 19 at 6 p. m. to experience shivers of passion as we continue our October speaker series with two Amazon five-star customer reviewed authors! Hyannis Library is located at 401 Main Street.
