Golden Gun Gets 2 Arrested In Barnstable Traffic Stop: MSP
A Hyannis man and a Nantucket man were arrested when a state trooper found a gun with some bling.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Two men were arrested when a state trooper found a gold colored semi-automatic pistol during a traffic stop, police said.
A trooper on patrol Sunday night on Yarmouth Road pulled over a Chevrolet that police said was driving over the center yellow line. The trooper noticed one of the men wasn't wearing a seatbelt, but when he was writing citations in his cruiser, he saw the passenger act suspicious.
The trooper called for backup ad removed the men from the vehicle. A search found a gold-colored .380 Llama semi-auto pistol.

Police arrested the driver, 56-year-old Clinton Davidson of Nantucket, and the passenger,30-year-old Ryan Banton of Hyannis.
Both men were charged with carrying a loaded firearm, firearm with a defaced serial number, possession of a firearm without FID card, possession of ammunition without FID card, and possession carrying a firearm.

Banton was also charged with a firearm violation with three prior violent/drug crimes and failure to wear a seatbelt. Davidson was also charged with marked lanes violation.
Bail was set at $500 each.
