CAPE COD, MA — Two golfers at the Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds were rushing against sunset to finish their round when they were confronted by a woman who they believed was carrying a gun, police said.

On Wednesday just after 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the course in Marstons Mills after two young men said a woman waved a pistol at them.

"The victims told responding officers that as they were playing their round of golf a woman appeared from the wood line yelling at them to stay out of her yard," police said. "When the golfers responded that they were not in her yard she presented what appeared to be a black pistol, waving and pointing it at them."
