Heritage Museums & Gardens Annual Auto Show to Showcase 100+ Cars

The Heritage Museums & Gardens Annual Auto Show sponsored by the Arbella Insurance Foundation will take place Sunday, June 14, from 10 am – 2 pm. The show was originally scheduled for Saturday but the date has been changed due to predicted rain.

The Auto Show is an all-inclusive, family-friendly event highlighting antique and classic automobiles, as well as hot rods and custom cars in excellent original or restored condition. This year, Heritage will recognize cars made in Massachusetts and Ford Thunderbirds, a model celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2015, in special exhibit areas.

Automobiles participating in the show will compete for five awards: HMG Auto Committee’s Choice Award, Participants’ Choice Award, the Heritage Recognition Award, Oldest Car Award, and the newly created Arbella Insurance Foundation Spectators’ Award, which will be announced and presented by Arbella’s auto experts.

The show will take place on Heritage’s Parade Field, where the cars on display can be seen close up and visitors will have the opportunity to talk to their owners. In addition to the show, visitors will be able to enjoy Heritage’s newly reinstalled auto exhibit Driven to Collect and the 2015 featured exhibition The Wyeths: America Reflected.
