Higgins Art Gallery: Digital Photo Transfer Demonstration

A free printmaking demonstration on Digital Photo Transfer with Barbara Ford Doyle will be held in the Higgins Art Gallery at Cape Cod Community College on September 30th from 11:00 a.m – 12:30 p.m. Barbara will discuss the use of a computer, Adobe Photoshop, and inkjet printers for printing on specially coated DASS™ film. She will demo transfers to mulberry paper, limestone “paper” and have examples of images on metal and transfers coated with encaustic. Barbara will offer suggestions for finishing and presenting work and prepare a list of resources. The demonstration coincides with the current gallery exhibit, Printmaking Invitational: Alternative Process, featuring twelve Cape Cod artists, all working in a variety of printmaking techniques.
