Holiday Spirit: State Trooper Helps Stranded Motorist on Mid-Cape Highway
A mother who ran out of gas with her baby in the car wrote a heartwarming thank-you letter to the trooper.
A state trooper helped a stranded motorist on the Mid-Cape Highway Wednesday night.
The woman ran out gas—she later said she found out she had a broken gas gauge—near Exit 9A in South Dennis.
The trooper pulled up and cordoned off the breakdown lane while the woman’s relative was en route with gas. The woman wrote a letter to the trooper thanking him for his help:
