News release from Town of Barnstable.
BARNSTABLE, MA — On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in observance of Massachusetts Municipal Elections, road construction will be limited to mitigate traffic impacts. As a result, traffic on Route 28 will be maintained in both directions and detours will be removed for the duration of the day.
Additionally, voters from Precinct 8, Precinct 9, and Precinct 13, utilizing the Hyannis Youth and Community Center (HYCC), are advised to access this polling location via Stevens Street during the hours of 2:00 PM through 4:00 PM to avoid traffic queueing within the rotary.
