Huge Cape Cod Fire: Blackhawk Helicopters Deployed
Breaking: three helicopters—including two Blackhawks—were used to fight a huge fire on Cape Cod Saturday.
SANDWICH, MA — A brush fire scorched at least 20 acres on Joint Base Cape Cod Saturday, authorities said.
The base houses the Air National Guard—and two Blackhawk helicopters equipped with water buckets were used to fight the blaze. A State Police helicopter assisted.
The cause of the fire was immediately unclear.
