Hy-Line Cruises Requiring Masks On Trips From Cape, Islands

The ferry service between Hyannis, Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod will not let passengers board unless they wear a mask or face covering.

HYANNIS, MA — Hy-Line Cruises, the ferry service between Hyannis, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, announced its requiring all passengers to wear masks or face coverings amid the new coronavirus pandemic.

Management with the ferry service said it does not have a large enough supply of masks to provide to customers, so passengers must bring their own. Many travelers are already wearing masks, but the company said it reserves the right to deny travel to anyone who doesn't follow the requirement.
