Hyannis Driver Slams Into Police Cruiser

A Hyannis woman slammed into a police cruiser yesterday; she was charged with negligent driving.

Yarmouth, MA — A Hyannis woman slammed her car into a Yarmouth police cruiser Wednesday as an officer conducted speed enforcement.

Gwendolyn Warren, 49, was charged with negligent driving and a lane violation.

The crash happened on Route 6A at about 9:30 a.m. The officer was not hurt;' Warren was hospitalized with minor injuries, police said.

Both vehicles were "severely damaged," police said.
