Hyannis Drivers To Face Downtown Detours In Coming Days
Road work begins next week at two key intersections of downtown Hyannis.
HYANNIS, MA — Drivers may face traffic tie-ups next week as road work detours the flow of vehicles through downtown Hyannis.
Plans call for paving at two key intersections along Main Street, Barnstable town officials said Tuesday – at Center Street/Old Colony Road and a few blocks east, at Camp Street/Lewis Bay Road, near Cape Cod Hospital.
The work will occur in stages and most of it is scheduled for nighttime. Still, the town said, there will be some disruption during the daylight hours of April 6-7.
