Hyannis Man Facing Child Porn Charges: Police
Police say the 31-year-old had pornographic images of children on his phone, and shared them with others.
HYANNIS, MA — A Hyannis man has been arrested and faces child pornography charges, according to police.
James Christie, 31, stored pornographic images of children on his cellphone and sent the pictures to other people, a statement said. Investigators believe he also chatted online about the sexual exploitation of children.

Christie was arrested last week in Plymouth on charges of possession and dissemination of child pornography. The arrest came following a tip to state police, a search of Christie’s residence in Hyannis and an investigation by the Barnstable Police Department.
