Hyannis Man Charged With Selling Crack-Cocaine In Yarmouth

Yarmouth officers arrested a Hyannis man after finding three bags filled with crack-cocaine, police said.

YARMOUTH, MA — A Hyannis man was arrested after police said he was distributing crack-cocaine. Sean Goddard, 48, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a class B substance and a subsequent offense of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

At 11 p.m. Monday, police said they pulled Goddard over on Route 28 in West Yarmouth for a traffic violation. Police said Goddard was well known to law enforcement and was placed under arrest on the driving with a suspended license charge.

Police said they searched Goddard's 2012 Ford Expedition and found three sandwich bags containing cocaine. Police said one of the knotted sandwich bags contained several smaller knotted bags filled with crack-cocaine.

Goddard will be arraigned in Barnstable District Court Tuesday.
