Hyannis Man Faces Gun, Cocaine Trafficking Charges

Police said Travis Rockwell was caught with 235 large capacity feeding devices, 85 vials of anabolic steroids and 19 grams of cocaine.

HYANNIS, MA — A Hyannis man was arraigned Monday after prosecutors said he was caught with hundreds of large capacity feeding devices for guns, cocaine and anabolic steroids.

Travis Rockwell, 36, was charged with trafficking cocaine 18 grams or more, reckless endangerment of a child, unlicensed possession of an assault rifle, possession of a class E substance and possession of large capacity feeding devices.

Over the last month, Barnstable police said they investigated Rockwell over his involvement in possessing illegal drugs and firearms. On Friday, police got a search warrant and saw Rockwell leaving his home on is motorcyle.

Police stopped Rockwell, who was wearing an Outlaws motorcycle club vest. Police said Rockwell acknowledged he's a member of the Cape Cod chapter. After searching Rockwell's home, police said they seized 235 large capacity feeding devices, 85 vials of anabolic steroids, 19 grams of cocaine, assorted rounds of ammunition and an AK-15 assault rifle.

Rockwell was arraigned Monday in Barnstable District Court and was ordered held on $10,000 bail.
