Hyannis Man Injured In Route 28 Crash
The 55-year-old was thrown from his motorcycle in Dennis Tuesday night.
DENNIS, MA — A Hyannis man was injured when he was thrown from his motorcycle in a crash on Route 28 Tuesday night, Dennis police said. The collision happened in front of the Original Seafood Restaurant in Dennis around 9:20 p.m., according to police.
Police said a 2014 Honda Accord driven by a 22-year-old Yarmouth woman was in the intersection when it was hit by a 1991 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by a 55-year-old Hyannis man. The man was thrown into the roadway and taken to Cape Cod Hospital by the fire department.
The driver of the Accord was uninjured. She was cited for failure to stop, police said.
