Hyannis Man Strikes And Kills Teen In I-195 Crash: Police
A Carver teen struck a guard rail on I-195 in Wareham but died checking the damage when he was hit by a Hyannis man, police said.
WAREHAM, MA — A 19-year-old Carver man was killed after he was struck by a car on Interstate 195, according to State Police. State Police said Jack Quindley crashed his car into a guard rail at exit 21 around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
Quindley and his passenger, an 18-year-old Carver man, got out of the car to check the damage, but when they did, a 51-year-old Hyannis man driving a BMW hit Quindley, police said.
All three men were taken to Tobey Hospital in Wareham, where Quindley later died. The other two men suffered minor injuries.

The cause of both crashes remain under investigation.
