Hyannis School Among Top 50 In Massachusetts: Rankings
Sturgis Charter Public School was again ranked one of the top high schools in Massachusetts.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Sturgis Charter Public School in Hyannis was again ranked as one of the top high schools in Massachusetts. SchoolDigger.com, which ranks schools across the country, used recent test scores — among other factors — to evaluate Bay State schools. Sturgis was ranked No. 40 among Massachusetts high schools. Boston Latin was ranked No. 1.
SchoolDigger.com reported the following statistics for Sturgis:
- Students: 806
- Student/teacher ratio. 9.4/1
- Free/reduced lunch recipuents: 5.8 %
- Average standardized test score: 80 percent
Earlier this year, Sturgis was also ranked one of the top 25 high schools in Massachusetts.
