Hyannis 'Serial Burglar' Sentenced For Cape Break-Ins
The 54-year-old pleaded guilty this week to 24 charges in connection with 11 break-ins in 2015.

HYANNIS, MA – A Hyannis man referred to as a "serial burglar" by a judge was sentenced this week for 11 break-ins on Cape Cod in 2015. Eric Lozada, 54, pleaded guilty to 24 charges on Monday and was sentenced to eight to 10 years in prison, according to the Cape Cod Times.
Authorities said the break-ins happened in June and July of 2015. Lozada frequently cut or removed a window screen and stole jewelry, backpacks, bicycles and weapons, the Times reported.
Lozada then moved to Pennsylvania and was arrested on other theft-related charges. Authorities said Lozada's landlord in Pennsylvania found property that was later linked to break-ins in Osterville and Marstons Mills.
