Good news for Hyannis Sports Authority workers after the company announced it will close 140 stores across the country.

BARNSTABLE, MA — The Hyannis Sports Authority will stay open in the wake of the company’s bankruptcy filing.

Consumerist posted a list of the 140 stores that will be shuttered as part of the bankruptcy move. The Hyannis store wasn’t on the list, but three Massachusetts stores in Framingham, Danvers, and Holyoke were.

The Colorado-based sporting gear chain has been hurt by competition from Amazon and Dick’s Sporting Goods over the last several years.
