Hyannis Twins Face Federal Gun, Drug Charges
The 26-year-old brothers, both convicted felons, are accused of being in possession of guns, ammunition and fentanyl.

HYANNIS, MA – Twin brothers from Hyannis were charged in federal court in Boston Thursday with gun and drug offenses, the U.S. Attorney's office said. Di'lon Smith, known as Dilon Smith, and Denzel Smith, both 26, are accused of being in possession of guns, ammunition and fentanyl.
Authorities allege that the brothers, both convicted felons, were found with a Smith & Wesson .22-caliber revolver, a Heckler & Koch .9-caliber pistol, six rounds of .22 caliber ammunition and 18 rounds of .9-caliber ammunition on Nov. 29, 2017. They also had fentanyl, as well as more than 100 grams of cyclopropyl fentanyl, a compound similar in structure to fentanyl, according to the USAO.
Authorities believe the Smiths intended to sell the drugs.
