Man Accused Of Upskirting Woman On Cape Cod
A server at a local restaurant was charged in connection with the incident.
NANTUCKET, MA – A Nantucket man was arrested last week and charged in connection with an "upskirting" incident on the island, state police said. The suspect, a 30-year-old server at a local restaurant, was allegedly seen taking an "upskirt" photo of a woman on Federal Street.
The three women who reported the incident to police had filmed and photographed the man in an attempt to identify him, according to police. State troopers found the man at work and placed him under arrest after looking at his pictures, police said.
The suspect, who has not been named, was charged with committing illegal electronic surveillance or video of a nude or partially nude person. He was evaluated at the hospital after making statements suggesting he was a threat to his own safety, according to a police statement.
