Man In Barnstable Dirt Bike Crash Dies

BARNSTABLE, MA – A Centerville man involved in a dirt bike crash Saturday in Marstons Mills has died, according to Environmental Police. James Zibutis, 31, was taken to the hospital after the collision on Old Post Road, which involved another man on a dirt bike.

Zibutis was reportedly not wearing a helmet, an Environmental Police official told the Cape Cod Times. He and the other biker were rounding a bend with limited visibility when they crashed into each other head-on.

Zibutis, a Hyannis native, was a 2005 graduate of Barnstable High School.
