Man Smashes Barnstable Window With Hammer, Public Assistance Sought

A window at a West Barnstable business was damaged late last week. Now, police are looking for help identifying the suspect.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Public assistance is requested from Barnstable police after a person smashed the windows of a local business with a hammer.

The Barnstable Police Department posted photos and videos to Facebook with the subject in question, which is shared here below.

On Wednesday at approximately 11:00 p.m., the person in the video damaged the window of a business in the area of Route 6A and Route 149 in West Barnstable. They are seen wielding a hammer that was used to smash out the store's window before fleeing the scene.
