Man Wanted In Attack On Cape Cod Officer Caught In Michigan
The 27-year-old has 91 priors and was out on bail for a previous charge when police say he assaulted an officer earlier this month.

PROVINCETOWN, MA – A man wanted in connection with an attack on a Provincetown police officer has been caught, according to police. Darren Devine, 27, was arrested in Michigan, police said Saturday.
Devine is accused of assaulting an officer in a building on Pearl Street March 15. Police said he hit the officer in the face when the officer attempted to arrest him. Another officer struck Devine with a stun gun, but he fled the scene, according to police.
Devine, who is believed to be homeless, was out on bail on charges of breaking and entering in Wellfleet in December, CapeCod.com reported. He did not show up for a pretrial hearing last week.

Devine's criminal record dates back to at least 2010 and includes charges in Yarmouth and Hyannis, according to CapeCod.com. He has a previous conviction for assaulting a police officer.
Yarmouth police said Devine has a "long(,) violent criminal history in Massachusetts" with 91 priors.
