Martha's Vineyard Savings Bank In Falmouth Hosts Free Family Barbecue & Document Shredding Event On Saturday, June 14
In celebration of the opening of its new, full-service Falmouth Branch, Martha's Vineyard Savings Bank will host a free Family Barbecue and Document Shredding Event on Flag Day, Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The branch is located at 397 Palmer Avenue on the corner of Jones Road in Falmouth.
Customer Appreciation Giveaways will include the opportunity to win an iPad and a Flat Screen TV, as well as Red Sox and New England Patriots Putnam Club tickets. Entries may be submitted at the bank any time up to and including June 14.
The Family Barbecue is free and open to the public and will include food, beverages, entertainment, activities for the kids and more. WCOD DJ Nina Jackson will broadcast live from the event and give away an additional pair of Red Sox tickets, courtesy of the radio station.
Document Shredding Event
As a community service (and simultaneous with the Family Barbecue), the Bank will host a complimentary Document Shredding Event on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The proper disposal of documents containing sensitive, personal information is a major step in preventing identify theft. The public is encouraged to bring old bills, checks, Bank statements, legal documents and more to be shredded free of charge. To accommodate as many individuals as possible, customers will be limited to two standard storage/banker boxes of documents per person. Shredding services will be provided by Cintas Document Management.
