Meeting Scheduled Ahead Of Barnstable Ocean Street Sidewalk Project
The project is likely to include relocating the entrance to Kalmus Beach, officials said.
BARNSTABLE, MA — The Department of Public Works will host a Jan. 30 meeting ahead of the beginning of a new project.
Officials are set to begin the Ocean Street Sidewalk Project in the near future, which will see work done along the south end of the street, including:
- New and improved pedestrian facilities from the John F. Kennedy Memorial to Kalmus Beach
- Relocating the Kalmus Beach entrance
- A water main extension
Officials have scheduled the meeting for 6 p.m. on Jan. 30 via Zoom. The link to the meeting can be found here, as well as more information on the project.
