Mid-Cape Fentanyl Trafficking Investigation Ends In Charges For One
A Sandwich man is charged after a search warrant ended with the discovery of nearly 250 grams of fentanyl, Barnstable police announced.

BARNSTABLE, MA — An investigation into fentanyl trafficking on Cape Cod ended this week when police executed a search warrant in an area hotel room, recovering nearly 250 grams of the drug, Barnstable police announced.
Kevin Robie, 31, of Sandwich, was under investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies over the past several months for trafficking fentanyl in the mid-Cape region, according to police.
On Monday, search warrants were executed for Robie and the hotel room he was staying in. During the search, police found 249 grams of fentanyl, packing materials and more than $38,000, the department said.

Robie is charged with trafficking over 200 grams of the drug and is held on $50,000 cash bail. An arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, according to police.
