Missing Cape Cod Woman Found Dead In New Hampshire

BOURNE, MA — A missing person report from the Bourne Police Department eventually led to a disheartening resolution.

On Saturday afternoon, police officials announced that Amy L. Anderson, of Bourne, was reported missing by her family. Her vehicle was also found in Cathedral Ledge State Park in New Hampshire.

At 9:25 p.m. on Saturday, police shared the news that Anderson was found dead.

"We are heartbroken to relay that Amy has been located and unfortunately has passed away," police said. "We offer our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. We have nothing further to release at this time, but will share more info at the appropriate time."
