Missing Elderly Man Found Safe On Cape Cod
Orleans police launched a search after an elderly man went missing Sunday night.
ORLEANS, MA — A missing elderly man was found safe Monday in Orleans, according to police. The 89-year-old man went missing from his Uncle Israel Road home Sunday night at about 9 p.m. After spending the night on foot, authorities found him safe near his residence Monday at about noon, police said.

The man was not hurt and reunited with his family, police said. More than a dozen local and state agencies — along with a private drone operation — were involved in the search.
