Kettell was driving a blue Ford Explorer at about noon when police said she tried to crash her SUV into a driver in an act of road rage. The driver turned out to be an off-duty police officer, according to the Cape Cod Times.

"(Kettell) then pulled behind the caller at a red traffic signal," Sandwich police said in a statement. "She began waving a double edged dagger knife out of the window. She exited the Explorer, removed her clothing, and ran bare chested towards the victim flailing the dagger. The caller drove away."
Officers later located Kettell and arrested her. She was charged with driving while intoxicated (second offense), three counts of assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon, lewd and lascivious conduct, driving with a revoked license and several vehicle violations.

This was not Kettell's first run-in with police this year. The Cape Cod Times reported in April, Sandwich police arrested Kettell after she allegedly threw a rock through a store and stole potato chips late at night. Kettell told police she was "hungry and wanted food," according to the Times. She pleaded not guilty to breaking and entering and malicious destruction of property, the Times reported.
