Netflix Series Featuring Nicole Kidman To Film On Cape Cod

CHATHAM, MA — Some stars come to Cape Cod for a vacation or relaxation. Others, including a number of A-listers, are expected on the Cape for work in the near future.

The Netflix-series adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand's best-selling book "The Perfect Couple" will see a star-studded cast head to Cape Cod for filming.

That cast includes Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning, Eve Hewson, Billy Howle and Omar Epps, among others.

According to a Netflix post about the series, filming is set to start this week. Reports say that Chatham is the venue for much of the filming, with the Cape Cod town transforming into Nantucket, the setting of the book and series.

The Cape Cod Chronicle reports that filming, which will last for over a month, is set to take place at a home in Chatham's Eastward Point neighborhood.

The adaptation of Hildrbrand's novel centers Amelia Sacks, played by Eve Hewson, who marries into one of Nantucket's wealthiest families. The wedding is being planned and no extravagance is left out, but when a dead body washes ashore the murder mystery ensues.
