New Hyannis Hotel Announces Management

Fairfield Inn & Suites Cape Cod, set to open next May, announced its new general manager on Thursday.

Andrew C. Quinto will oversee the hotel’s operations, sales and marketing.

In early August, Fairfield Inn & Suites Cape Cod, formerly the Days Inn hotel, said it will undergo nine months of renovations, including guest elevators and a third story expansion.

The hotel is a subsidiary of The Simon Konover Company, a real estate firm that operates in the Midwest and eastern parts of the country, and is managed by Konover Hotel Corporation.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites Cape Cod is close to the Barnstable Municipal Airport as well as beaches Hyannis, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Quinto has been working with Konover Hotel since 2006 and received his Certified Hotel Administrator designation from The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute in 2012.

The American Hotel & Lodging Association and the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Lodging Association elected Quinto to the Under 30 Council in 2012.
