EASTHAM, MA — Fire crews from across Cape Cod found themselves in Eastham on Thanksgiving morning for a structure fire on Nauset Light Beach Road.
The fire was reported just after 6 a.m., and arriving crews found an unoccupied home "fully involved" at the scene.
Crews from Orleans, Wellfleet, Truro, Brewster, Harwich and Chatham responded to the scene to assist. Officials said that this section of Eastham doesn't have fire hydrants, so water was shuttled in from Cable Road.
