Nomination Papers Available For Barnstable Elections

All 13 Town Council seats are up for election in 2023, as are seats on the School Committee and Housing Authority.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Nomination papers for the upcoming local elections in Barnstable are now available.

The papers are available in the Town Clerk’s Office, 367 Main St., Hyannis, for anyone interested in running for town office, Barnstable Town Clerk Ann Quirk announced Friday.

This election will see races for Town Council seats in all 13 precincts, three seats on the School Committee and two seats on the Housing Authority.

Nomination papers can be picked up Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and must be returned by 4 p.m. on Sept. 15 for all offices.

The town's elections will take place on Nov. 7 this year.
